I think we all know by now how much I love working out. I’m happy working out at the gym, I’m happy working out at home, and I’m super happy working out outside. Gosh, and when I get the chance to workout alone…with no kids…now that’s a lucky day!
It’s on those days that I tend to run outside where I can enjoy fresh air, a nice breeze, and some peace and quiet. It is glorious. It’s also on those days that I tend to run into a problem…where do I put all my stuff?!? When I leave the house, I like to have my phone, my keys, and at least my ID (just in case). Without a stroller to throw them in or a purse to carry them in (because who runs with a purse?), I’ve found myself stuffing the pockets of my Patagonia vest with all these items.
It solves the problem, but it’s a terrible solution for the following reasons ::
- I get SUPER hot in my vest but I can’t take it off because I don’t have anywhere to store it
- My phone and keys shake around in my pockets annoying the heck out me and everyone else on the trail
- It negatively affects my run (and my splits!) because I have all these items bouncing up and down on my stomach
Thankfully, I’m happy to report I have officially found a much better solution :: the FlipBelt
It is this incredibly comfortable, super stretchy waistband that fits all your necessities, stays in one place, looks great, and is easy to take care of. I can literally fit my iPhone 6, my keys, my ID, and more without it feeling overstuffed and most importantly, without it moving all around. One of my favorite parts is that you can barely even tell I’m wearing anything other than my workout clothes and I’m actually carrying all the items I need.
What makes me love it even more is that it’s become my new “purse” for running errands. It’s like a cool version of a fanny pack and since it has an athletic look, it matches all my workout clothes perfectly. That means that on the weekends, I can go for a run outside or go to the gym (using my FlipBelt), and then go straight to the grocery store without having to lug anything else with me. I LOVE it. The only downside to this is that Travis will continue to ask me why I don’t have a proper purse. Sorry babe! I’m all about efficiency. 🙂
Long story short, I highly recommend checking out FlipBelt if you’re into working out without pockets full of stuff.
Here are some of the other FlipBelt benefits :
- Constructed from poly spandex to wick away sweat
- Has a sleek appearance and looks just like a regular waistband
- Odor resistant
- Machine washable
- Available in 5 sizes for a perfect fit that never rides up
- Available in multiple colors
Check them out for yourself at FlipBelt.com – retail price is $28.99 and in my opinion, they’re worth every penny!
