Third Pregnancy :: Week 13

We had yet another ultrasound last week. This time around, they were evaluating the risk for down syndrome. For my age group (29), the risk is 1 in 700-800 and I’m happy to say that our results came back as a risk of 1 in 13,000.

Abby and Mac joined us for the appointment and Abby brought her “soft baby” who she had talk to the “baby in Mommy’s belly” while the technician was gathering information. It’s amazing how aware Abby is this time around. Baby Mac, on the other hand, was wandering around the room looking at herself in the mirror. Both girls were fantastic and pretty darn adorable.

Equally adorable was our third little nugget, baby #3, who’s looking and sounding great. Here he/she is!

Belly button:

Sleep has been fantastic…no complaints at all!

Best moment of the week:
Celebrating Mackenzie’s 1st birthday and hosting a fantastic party for family and friends. We had so much fun!

Food cravings:
Chocolate. That, and Mexican food.

Food aversions:

I think my nausea is officially on its way out (thank goodness!). Other than that, I’ve been feeling pretty good. My energy is still much lower than usual, but we’ve also been much busier than usual.

What I’m looking forward to:
Our new couch getting delivered next week.

What I’m nervous about:
Not making new friends in the East Bay.

What I miss:
Caprese sandwiches from Cheese Plus in San Francisco.

There is no comparison to my First Pregnancy…yet!

Comparison to my Second Pregnancy (Mackenzie):
Here’s Week 13!

Until next time,
