Third Pregnancy :: Week 4

Third Pregnancy :: Week 4
I found out I was pregnant a week ago. I’m excited and nervous all at the same time (I’m pretty sure Travis feels the same way). And while we were hoping and planning to have baby #3, we didn’t think we’d be lucky enough for it to happen this quickly. We’re ready and excited to go through this process again and we’re already looking forward to meeting the newest member of the James family!

This time around, I’ll spare everyone from seeing my bare belly (I’ll save those pics for my Fitness updates) and instead, I’ll be sporting the very same black tank top for each photo.

Here goes nothing…week 4 ::

Week 4 Photo Series_Third Pregnancy

Age of Abigail ::
2 years, 7 months

Age of Mackenzie ::
10 months

Sanity Level of Parents:
After the initial shock, I would say we’re feeling extremely excited and very, very lucky to have a growing family.

How far along:
4 whole weeks

How big is baby:
The size of a poppy seed

Weight gain:
1 lb. ..starting this pregnancy off right! haha…either that, or I just had a big breakfast!

Maternity clothes:
None…but I imagine that with a third pregnancy, they’ll be coming out of storage much earlier than before.

Stretch marks:
None.

Belly button:
After I had Mac, my belly button went back in where it belongs so it’s currently an innie.

Sleep:
Let’s just say I’ve been sleeping a lot more than usual. Normal hours are 11pm-5:30am, but as of last Tuesday (when we found out), I’ve been going to bed at 8:30 or 9:00pm and waking up at the same time (no sleeping in for a Mommy and Daddy of two!).

Best moment of the week:
Finding out we were pregnant…it was shocking, petrifying, and exciting all at the same time. Ahhh!!!

Food cravings:
None.

Food aversions:
None.

Symptoms:
Zero so far, but I just can’t wait to get heartburn, red spots, and lightening crotch…

Movement:
Zero movement.

Gender:
No clue, but I’m going to go out on a limb here and guess we’re having another girl.

What I’m looking forward to:
Our first appointment…that one always makes it seem so much more real.

What I’m nervous about:
Being pregnant again…being pregnant with two kids running around…having our second and third babies only be 18 months apart…being pregnant so far from family…having three kids so far from family…living in an apartment while pregnant with two kids…losing my mind…feeling overwhelmed…

But really, nothing that huge…

What I miss:
Is it too early to say that I already miss drinking wine while watching Extra?!? hehe

Next appointment:
10.4.13 (1st appointment!)

Comparison to my First Pregnancy (Abigail):
There is no comparison to my First Pregnancy…well, what I should say is that I hadn’t blogged about my 1st pregnancy at this point!

Comparison to my Second Pregnancy (Mackenzie):
Luckily, I started documenting Mac’s pregnancy nice and early – here’s Week 4!
