We just returned from yet another trip to Atlanta. This time we were only there for a long weekend but we soaked up every second of family time we possibly could.
We stayed at Kiki and Gappy’s house. We saw Uncle C, Mimi, and Emmy every day. The guys golfed. The gals got pedicures (well, Kiki watched the babies while Malinda and I got pampered…thanks, Little Momma!). We had dinner with Myles and Maggie. Christopher, Malinda and I saw John Mayer on Friday night while Travis socialized with family and friends. The list goes on and on…
To say it was a fun-filled weekend would be an understatement. I just wish we could have weekends like that all the time without having to fly cross country with the girls (who were amazing travelers, by the way).
Oh well, it’s absolutely worth the trip!
And while we were almost too busy to take pictures of anything, Christopher managed to pull his camera out for a few adorable shots of the three little ladies. The fact that these cousins are so close in age is so neat to watch (Abigail is 2.5, Emilia is 1.5, Mackenzie is 10 months). I can only imagine how much fun they’ll have together through the years.
We also started a new tradition of taking pictures of the girls in front of Kiki and Gappy’s brand new tree…it’ll be amazing to watch how quickly both the girls and the tree grow over the years.
Last but not least, I just wanted to let everyone know that I intend to write more often than I have been. Things have been a bit crazy between travel, house-hunting, and a million other things, but I have lots to fill you in on (including an upcoming move in a couple weeks – more on that soon!). I even have some fun giveaways to tell you about…stay tuned!
Until next time,
