What good is it to take a bunch of pictures with your phone if you never do anything with them!? I asked myself that question a few months back and at that moment I made a promise to myself to download my photos regularly to really SEE them. I don’t know about you, but I find it hard to truly enjoy photos when I only look at them on my phone.
The best part about downloading the pictures and enjoying them on a computer screen? You are amazed (and impressed) by how many GOOD photos (well, at least memorable photos) you took.
Since I’m not really sure what else to do with them, I figured I’d share some of my favorites from the past three months on my blog. It’s been a whirlwind!
I have to say, what I love most about iPhone photos is how perfectly candid they are. They represent something that was significant or important enough to (for the most part) be sent to someone else (typically Daddy or the Grandparents). That means each photo is a special moment in time worth sharing for one reason or another…whether it be the adorable bond of two sisters beginning to develop,
or the fact that it was time to celebrate national margarita day (which is obviously very important).
Whether it was a milestone worth capturing like Abby’s first trip to Krispy Kreme,
or something adorable like Abby trying to put her baby doll into my bjorn,
iPhone photos make me happy and make me remember all the fun (and the not-so-fun…like the sick photos) we’ve had.
They mean that you didn’t feel the urge to bring the fancy camera, but you felt the need to capture something really special anyway. They don’t always turn out perfectly (or in focus), but there’s always a story behind them and there’s always a caption that would fit perfectly.
Enough of my babbling.
