Second Pregnancy :: Week 36

Age of baby #1:
20.5 months (which will make them ~21.5 months apart)

How far along:
36 weeks

How big is baby:
the size of a honeydew

Weight gain:
0 lbs. (for a total weight gain of 30 lbs)

Maternity clothes:
Same as usual…yoga pants and long tank tops.  I was able to dress up for a wedding this weekend and I found a great non-maternity dress at Mom’s the Word (because the dress I mentioned last week simply didn’t make the cut – it sort of fit but Travis and I both decided it made me look like I was at least 40 years old).

Here’s what I ended up wearing (ps…check out that stud next to me…I’m such a lucky lady!) ::

Innie/Outie (it’s not out all the way, but it looks like it’s sticking out a bit)

I’ve been sleeping fairly well.  Since we got our new king size memory foam mattress, Travis decided to start snoring more often (apparently it’s because he’s soooooo comfy…haha), so that’s been a rough adjustment for me.  Abby’s been enjoying our bed from time to time as well (shockingly not in the middle of the night…just in the mornings on occasion).

Best moment of the week:
Sleeping in on Sunday morning (until 7:45am, which is LATE for us!) because Abigail was spending the weekend with her grandparents…it was really nice!  But it was also SO nice to be reunited with her later in the day!!!

Food cravings:
None, really.

Food aversions:


  1. Peeing ALL the time (so fun!) because Mac feels like she’s directly on my bladder.
  2. Puffiness and swelling on occasion.
  3. Dark line on my belly.
  4. Clothes aren’t fitting well.
  5. Heartburn, but it’s SO MUCH BETTER thanks to Pepcid AC.
  6. Red spots on my arms, chest, and face.
  7. Feeling tired.

Active, active, active.  Like, SUPER active.

GIRL :: Mackenzie Marie!!!

What I’m looking forward to:
Our appointment on Thursday because my doctor said she’ll probably do an ultrasound just to make sure she’s in the right position.  We didn’t get to see Abby after week 19 on an ultrasound, so we’re super excited (so much so that Travis is actually planning on coming)!

What I’m nervous about:
Not much, I’m feeling very organized and relatively calm these days.  I’m just excited to meet Mac!

What I miss:
My family…luckily, we get to see a couple of them next week…yahoooo!!!

Next appointment:
This Thursday, October 11th (then I’m down to once a week!)
