Mommy Fitness :: 28 Weeks Pregnant
We’re entering the 3rd trimester this week…woohoo! So close yet so far away! The awesome part about weeks 28 and 29 was that we were in Mexico enjoying 10 days of kid-free time (minus the baby in my belly, of course). The not so awesome part about these weeks was that I felt so incredibly heavy. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again :: the end of my 2nd trimester and very beginning of my 3rd trimester are very rough on me…1st pregnancy AND 2nd pregnancy.
Next time around (if there is a next time around), I’ll have to remember that and not be so hard on myself when I can’t motivate to workout.
Mommy Fitness :: 29 Weeks Pregnant
Still in Mexico on our babymoon. I worked out a total of 4 times in 10 days…pretty good if you ask me! They had really nice workout facilities at the first hotel we stayed at and other than that, we did lots of walking around and exploring (always a nice way to “workout”).
Mommy Fitness :: 30 Weeks Pregnant
Week 30 is when I officially entered my “happy time” (aka the time in my pregnancy where I settle into my new size and start to feel amazing again…my 3rd trimesters rock relative to my 1st and 2nd!). This week I made it to the gym three times and went for long walks every other day (oh, and went to the zoo one day where we walked all over the place and said “hello!” to all the adorable animals!).
Mommy Fitness :: 31 Weeks Pregnant
Still feeling awesome and I caught up on mini me papers, so I was able to go the gym 5 times this week (four times during the week and once on the weekend). Loving this part of my pregnancy! Oh, and we went to another zoo on the weekend…fun for all!
Mommy Fitness :: 32 Weeks Pregnant
Once again, no complaints at all this week. I only made it to the gym twice, but it was also Abigail’s first full week of activities (music on Tuesday, swim on Wednesday, and soccer on Friday) so we loaded up the BOB and walked to and from all the activities…those walks were my workouts. It was a 5 mile round trip walk to music, a 3 mile round trip walk to swim, and a 2 mile round trip walk to soccer.
My Standard Workout at the Gym
Cybex – 42 minutes (alternating every 5 minutes from level 4 to level 8)
Free Weights – 5 lb. weights
- Bicep Curls – 3 sets of 10
- Lateral Raises – 3 sets of 10
- Front Arm Raises – 3 sets of 10
- Military Press – 3 sets of 10
As always, if you have any questions for me, shoot!
