Mommy Fitness :: 23 Weeks Pregnant
This week was the 4th of July and oddly enough, it was smack dab in the middle of the week (making working out a hard item to prioritize). Thankfully, I managed to head to the YMCA twice (the days Travis was at work) and I made it to Crunch twice (the days he was home). We also managed to have a nice little 4th of July that included lunch at our favorite Mexican place, Tacko, and headed to the park for play time with Abigail.

I was back in Atlanta this week where the food was abundant and the working out was limited (and where we were working on buying an Investment Property that I didn’t tell anyone about until later…sneaky, sneaky!). My workouts consisted of cleaning our house from top to bottom a few times, painting, and jumping up and down out of excitement. I think I made it to the gym in my parent’s apartment complex once…

Same exact story as week 24. I was still in Atlanta and still working on the house, day in and day out (along with my parents who were amazingly awesome and helpful…as always). I was probably more active on those days than on most other days!
Mommy Fitness :: 26 Weeks Pregnant
Week 25 and 26 are really the weeks where I felt like I grew the most…I “popped,” if you will. Because of that, workouts were TOUGH. I felt like I had an elephant sitting on my belly. As I said in my notes, “Rough week working out…3 days at gym. 1 day I tried and couldn’t do anything.” I remember that day so clearly…it was a Saturday morning (typically one of my best workout days because Travis watches Abby so I can be at the gym as long as I want) and when I climbed onto the Cybex machine, I realized there was absolutely no way I was going to be able to do anything productive. I slowly climbed off, gathered my belongings, and walked straight back home.
I’m still not the best at doing this, but be sure to listen to your body!!!
Mommy Fitness :: 27 Weeks Pregnant
Despite feeling like a whale at the end of my second trimester, I was able to motivate myself to head to the gym four times this week because we were about to head off on our Babymoon in Mexico where I knew working out would be extremely difficult to motivate for.
More on the babymoon next time around…
