Here we go with weeks 18-22 (good thing I took notes because there’s no way I would remember anything without them!!) ::
Mommy Fitness :: 18 Weeks Pregnant
This week I was actually pretty darn good considering we were in Napa for the weekend (where I worked out at the Silverado Resort). I was feeling great and I managed to head to the YMCA twice and to Crunch once…all in all, this was a 4 day workout week.
Looking back, I can’t believe I thought I looked pregnant…

I’m not even big on celebrating birthdays (Travis is the one in the family who loves them), but apparently I felt I deserved a break from working out…that was my gift to myself.
Mommy Fitness :: 20 Weeks Pregnant
This week I was extremely busy with mini me papers. I made it to the gym twice (the YMCA so I could drop Abby off at child care) and then walked to the post office every other day (a 15 minute walk each direction). Those were my workouts…hey, at least I got out and did something!
Something is always better than nothing (except on your day off…like today…where I’ve done NOTHING and it’s been fabulous).
Mommy Fitness :: 21 Weeks Pregnant
I was motivated this week and I felt great so I took full advantage of the combination. Abigail and I went to the YMCA three times and I went to Crunch on both Saturday and Sunday (always an accomplishment if I make it both weekend days!).
Mommy Fitness :: 22 Weeks Pregnant
This week was also pretty darn good on the workout front…according to my notes, I went to the YMCA 4 times with Abigail and when we were in Tahoe for a wedding on the weekend, I worked out once at the hotel’s gym. 5 out of 7 days…go me! haha…
Overall, I was feeling good in my pregnancy, but I was about to enter the phase where I’d randomly feel like I weighed 300 pounds and would have to sit down. It’s still so bizarre to me that my 2nd trimester is always my hardest and then when I reach my 3rd, I feel amazing and light again.

My Standard Workout at the Gym
Cybex – 42 minutes (alternating every 5 minutes from level 4 to level 8)
Free Weights – 5 lb. weights
- Bicep Curls – 3 sets of 10
- Lateral Raises – 3 sets of 10
- Front Arm Raises – 3 sets of 10
- Military Press – 3 sets of 10
