Second Pregnancy :: Week 29
Age of baby #1:
19 months (which will make them ~21.5 months apart)
How far along:
How big is baby:
the size of an acorn squash
Once again, do you think I’ve stepped on a scale after 10 days of an all-inclusive vacation?! I think not. I’ll report back next week on weight gain.
Same as Week 28…bathing suits, maxi dresses, and other warm weather attire.
I’ve been sleeping relatively well! Oh, and at the Four Seasons in Punta Mita, we walked into our room and there was a maternity pillow waiting for me…man alive I’m glad I don’t have one of those at home. It was a nice gesture of the resort, but that pillow was HUGE…I felt like it was attacking me the whole night. Actually, it only attacked me for about two hours because I tossed it on the ground once I realized how annoying it was.
Best moment of the week:
Reuniting with Abigail. Kiki and Gappy brought her into the airport and when we rounded the corner after gathering our bags, she came running up to us and wrapped her adorable little arms around us…I don’t want to sound too cheesy, but I think I shed a few tears. It was a perfect reunion. Being away was amazing, but there’s really no place like home.
We’ll stick with the chocolate croissants from last week’s post.
1. Heartburn. Heartburn. And more heartburn.
2. Red spots on my arms, chest, and face.
3. Random shortness of breath.
4. Feeling huge.
Still the most active baby on Earth. All day, every day. Must mean she’s happy!
What I’m looking forward to:
My doctor’s appointment on Wednesday. That, and cooking again…eating healthy…working out…getting back into the routine of normal life!
What I’m nervous about:
Nothing that I can think of.
What I miss:
Once again, the warm weather in Mexico. It took me 10 days to get my tan and it’ll probably take 2 days for it to fade away thanks to the lack of sun in San Francisco. Waaaa!!!
