Second Pregnancy :: Week 28
Age of baby #1:
18.5 months (which will make them ~21.5 months apart)
How far along:
How big is baby:
the size of an eggplant
No clue. I was on vacation for 10 days straight…do you think I want to know!?
I was in Mexico so I wore bathing suits, shorts, tank tops, and maxi dresses. You’ll see my wardrobe when I post about our Babymoon.
I caught up on sleep in Mexico to the point where I had a hard time sleeping the final few nights because we’d slept so much (and I missed Abby!). We came back on Saturday night feeling refreshed and ready to go (hence the reason we both worked out on Sunday, I made 3 mini me papers from start to finish, we went grocery shopping, and sort of cleaned the apartment).
Best moment of the week:
Every moment was the best. We had the most amazing time together. I’m the luckiest lady on earth.
Chocolate croissants. The first morning they brought one to the table so I naturally had to request more (they were small!)…so every morning after that, our waiter (Cruz) brought three chocolate croissants to our table. Each morning he said, “one for you and two for the baby!” Love service like that! And trust me, I didn’t have any trouble eating every single croissant that was placed in front of me. Yum!
1. Heartburn. Heartburn. And more heartburn.
2. Red spots on my arms, chest, and face.
3. Random shortness of breath.
4. Feeling huge.
Possibly more active than Abby. Oh my goodness. As my doctor said at my last appointment, “the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.” So true.
What I’m looking forward to:
Catching up on mini me papers and then going on “Maternity Leave” so I can spend the next two months with Abigail.
What I’m nervous about:
What I miss:
The warm weather in Mexico. Coming home was wonderful, but we were certainly greeted by fog. Ugh.
