Second Pregnancy :: Week 6
Age of baby #1:
13.5 months (which will make them ~21.5 months apart)
How far along:
How big is baby:
a lentil bean
Total weight gain:
1 lb. (for a total weight gain of 1 lb.)
None. Fingers crossed I get away without any the second time around as well.
Innie…hoping it stays that way as well!
I’m sleeping really well. Abby’s been sleeping really well so that’s been nice. 🙂
Best moment of the week:
Finding out that one of my wonderful San Francisco Mommy friends (whose son is 13 days older than Abigail) is also pregnant…we’re due 5 days apart! So nice that I’ll be going through this with someone else this time around!
Anything fried, cheesy, and chocolate-y…bizarre because last time I craved fresh fruit. Does this mean I might be growing a boy???
- A little bit of nausea but nothing terrible.
- Headaches have officially begun as well (which were my worst symptom with Pregnancy #1). They go away around mid-morning, but they’re not fun!
- A general sense of exhaustion when I attempt to workout and/or go for long walks (or walk up crazy steep San Francisco hills)
- Crazy emotions: sorry, Travis! I overreact. I get emotional over nothing. I feel like Travis working long hours means he doesn’t want to spend time with us. Crazy stuff. I remember it clearly from pregnancy #1…I know I shouldn’t be reacting the way I have been, yet I can’t control it. Pure insanity.
No idea, but can’t wait to find out!
What I’m looking forward to:
Heading out to Atlanta for a 5 day “Mommy Vacation” – I’m looking so incredibly forward to traveling light! I’ll miss Abby terribly, but at least I’ll have little bean riding along. 🙂
What I’m nervous about:
Spilling the beans to EVERYONE we know before we’ve had our first appointment confirming everything is okay.
What I miss:
April 11th at 9:00am (which will be our very first appointment)
Comparison to Pregnancy #1:
At this point in pregnancy #1, I was experiencing headaches and general exhaustion. Very similar! Here’s a photo of Pregnancy #1 at Week 6 ::
