When Buddy the Elf needs an Elf

What happens when Buddy the Elf needs help keeping his hat attached to his ridiculously curly a relatively disgusting hair?  He seeks out another Elf (one who recently learned how to use a needle and thread) to permanently affix the two together.  Duh!

7x7xDaddy and I were lucky enough to have a wonderful “adult evening” (think dinner and holiday party without a baby) on Saturday night thanks to Kiki and Gappy’s extraordinary babysitting skills.  While I have to admit I spent much of the evening holding a friend’s adorable 3.5 week old little girl (what!?!  I couldn’t help myself!), it was still incredibly enjoyable to know Abigail was safe and sound and we didn’t have to worry about where she was walking off to this time and/or what she was potentially getting into (the toilet paper roll in the bathroom is always the first place we check).

While we may have spent our “adult evening” dressed as giddy children heading out to trick-or-treat for the first time, it was absolutely perfect.

Oh, and for those of you who are wondering, Buddy’s Elf did quite a fantastic job on his hair/hat combo. It never budged (even when Buddy was attempting to dance in the living room…).
