Pumpkin Carving Adventures

Remember when I told you to stay tuned for pumpkin carving pictures earlier today?  Well, here they are.  They’re not lit (of course we forgot the candles…what amateurs we are), they’re nowhere near amazing or super detailed, but they’re carved.  Not only are they carved, but we’ve begun yet another family tradition…

Pumpkin carving (I suppose that’s a must being that one of our other family traditions is traveling to the best pumpkin patches around).

In my opinion, Halloween and pumpkin carving go together like peanut butter and chocolate…I honestly couldn’t imagine one without the other.

Luckily for us, we had one heck of a supervisor in Abigail.

Next year’s going to be awesome when she can help us a little more in the eye and nose placement categories (Mommy and Daddy need some serious help – our pumpkins look like they’ve had a few too many drinks!)

Happy almost Halloween…and I’ll share a final product photo (lit pumpkins) in the coming days!

You win! And the Thrasher suck! Our pumpkins still look like the day we stole, um, picked them from the pumpkin patch. Oh well. I threw a badass baby Halloween bash instead. Martha would still be proud of me.

haha well I think the important point here is that you hosted a party and all we did was attend (therefore we had much more time on our hands this weekend)…right? 🙂 Plus, there’s always today!
