Mommy Fitness: Join a Team (a photo update)

A few weeks ago, I wrote about the benefits of joining a team. To recap, here are the top five benefits:

  1. You’re held accountable
  2. Your workout is anything but boring
  3. You challenge yourself
  4. You’re not alone
  5. You’re setting a good…no, a GREAT, example for your kid(s)

Now that I’m a Mom, I can say that my favorite benefit is #5: it’s all about setting a great example for your kids and leading by example.  With that said, I wanted to share a quick photo update from one of my recent basketball games where Abigail acted as my most enthusiastic cheerleader (not to mention cutest) to date.     You know, I joined a different type of team, that she may love if she continues down this path: cheerleading! ha!

    Aaaawwww she’s so cute! I so miss playing volleyball in a team. Depending how much time I have, I’ll try to join us once Alexis is born
