Spinach (Part 2: Testing)

Remember when I said this?

“I love spinach. 7x7xDaddy loves spinach. Popeye loves spinach. So Abby should like spinach, right?”

Well, we have an extremely definitive answer now and I think this face explains it better than words ever could:

Gosh, and that was after it all began with Abigail having a very open mind.

She was excited to try something new.

And then it all went downhill after one bite.

And it went downhill FAST (though I can’t really blame her – hot, pureed spinach doesn’t look very appetizing to me either – are we bad parents for laughing at her?!?ย  I think not)

We can now conclude that after weeks of success (think: Peas, Carrots, Sweet Potatoes), Abigail doesn’t like anything and everything we feed her (think: Asparagus, Green Beans).

That being said, we’re not giving up on the rejects.ย  We’ll try feeding them to her again and again (because it supposedly takes 8-10 tries for a baby to like something new), but for now I think we’ll move onto something new…

    Hahahaha love it.

I feel the same way, kiddo. I can’t stand the stuff either. (and hot mushed up spinach looks way, way worse)

The pics were funny enough, but oh my goodness, the video is hilarious! Miss Abigail-you are the funniest little girl.
It is just cooked, mushed spinach that is so yucky! It isn’t any better coming out of Gerber’s kitchen either!!!
