I love to use olive oil to make a simple tomato-bread salad, especially during heirloom tomato season. A high-quality olive oil makes all the difference!

We Olive’s Meyer Lemon OO is a stand alone amazing olive oil. My favorite is to use it with a little bit of braggs on top of salad as a dressing. Its perfect! Or with some salt and bread. This stuff is SO GOOD. Seriously, for those who haven’t tried it, go now! Plus the store is super fun because you can try all sorts of different oils and vinegar. Its great!

My favorite way to use olive oil is in my cilantro pesto – i use cilantro, olive oil and pecans…. place on lemon pepper pasta.

Yum! I use olive oil almost daily when cooking. A really good olive oil is the starting ingredient to so many of my favorite dishes — especially my tomato sauce. Without good olive oil, the tomato sauce just doesn’t reach perfection. I’ve also been searching for the perfect spicy olive oil, a childhood friend’s Mom used to cover chicken wings in spicy olive oil, cover them with paprika, and bake them… I want to try to reinvent this and do so in a healthy way. Yum!

Ok, I’m entering a comment, even though I never win at anything!
My favorite thing to do with Olive Oil has to be this. I stumbled across a delicious pasta which specializes in handmade flavored pastas. (http://www.deciopasta.com/) my favorite thing is to cook their Spinach basil garlic fettuccine noodles, and then after they are cooked I add in fresh diced tomatoes, fresh parmigiana cheese, and then cover it with flavored olive oil. I typically use basil flavored olive oil.
The best part is that you can make a big helping of it, because it’s amazing hot, or cold.

Honestly, I think there’s nothing better than a simple saute of garlic and olive oil over a pasta, or with a crispy french baguette and a touch of balsamic vinegar. I use olive oil for pretty much everything.

Here’s my favorite recipe using olive oil!

Summer Garden Pasta
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
2 medium zucchini, sliced
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
2 cloves garlic, crushed
2 cups of chopped tomatoes
handful of torn basil leaves
2 teaspoons balsamic vinegar
salt
freshly ground pepper
whole wheat pasta
grated parmesan cheese, optional
Cook pasta according to package directions. Heat oil over medium heat in a large skillet. Add zucchini, onion, and garlic and cook for five minutes, stirring occasionally. Add tomatoes, basil, vinegar salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, cover and simmer until zucchini is tender. Serve over pasta and sprinkle with cheese.

Meyer Lemon Oil and the Peach Balsamic are a great combo on salad.
The Garlic Olive Oil is great when I don’t have time or want to mince up garlic to add to olive oil when cooking…I just pour the Garlic Olive Oil into my pan and cook away

My favorite way to use olive oil is in my homemade vinaigrette dressing. 2 oz each of EVOO and your vinegar of choice (I usually use red wine vinegar but white balsamic and regular balsamic are both good, too!), one minced clove of garlic, a few twists of the peppermill and a sprinkling of Adobo…mix it up an hour before use to give the flavors a chance to make friends then emulsify with a whisk before pouring over a salad and tossing to coat evenly. Everyone raves about this and it’s SO easy

What’s your favorite way to use Olive Oil? My favorite way to use olive oil is to cook with! Plan and simple, I use oliveoil for dips, to cook, to make salad dressing. Butter does not come into my home unless its a holiday!

Well, I use Olive Oil for just about all my cooking needs…but the flavored oils are great all by themselves when you dip them with a great Bread!

Here is a simple and delicious Recipe:
1 Loaf French Bread
4 Fresh Tomatoes
1/2 cup olive oil
15-20 Fresh Chopped Basil Leaves
3-4 fresh chopped Garlic Cloves
Parmesan Cheese for topping (approx. 1/4 cup)
Salt and Pepper to taste
Cut French Bread into 1 inch slices
Chop Tomatoes, Basic, Garlic and add olive oil and salt and Pepper to taste.Mix well.
Spread onto sliced Bread
Sprinkle with Parmesan Cheese
Bake @350 for 10-15 minutes
