Green Beans (Part 2: Testing)

There’s a reason I postponed Part 2 of Green Beans (see Part 1: Recipe & Prep here)

I was waiting for Abigail to come around.

I was waiting to be able to announce that she really does like them.

I think I was waiting for a miracle.

Let’s just say she didn’t come around…she never liked them…and a miracle never occurred…

Oh, and let’s also say that at least half of what I made was washed down the sink this morning. Sad.

On the bright side, we now know what Abigail’s “What is this? Are you trying to poison me?” look is:

pretty sure her eyes are watering in this one

For being such a good sport the past few days, I just whipped up a fresh batch of Carrots for my little munchkin.  The jury’s still out on which veggie we’ll try next: if you have any suggestions, let me know!

As always, here are some resources for you if you’d like to learn more about Starting Solids:

What a cutie pie! Maybe try to mix it with other veggies to make it sweeter for her. That look is priceless.
