The recipe is simple and the only ingredient you need is a bag of carrots (1 lb.) – as usual, I found some Organic Carrots at Trader Joe’s for less than $2.00:
Step 1: Peel the carrots and cut them into small pieces
Step 2: Place the pieces into a steamer pan (above) and steam with about an inch of water. Steam until tender (took approximately 15 minutes for my carrots).
Step 3: Place tender carrots into a blender (or in my case, my trusty Magic Bullet!) and puree. Add water if necessary to thin it out (I used 2 or 3 tablespoons)
Step 5: See what your baby thinks (once it has cooled enough!)
