Peas (Part 1: Recipe & Prep)

The poll results came in…Abigail’s first veggie will be peas (I’m actually quite happy about the results being that I only had peas and carrots in our house – your votes saved me a grocery run!).

The poll broke down like this:

  1. Peas – 37.5%
  2. Sweet Potatoes – 25%
  3. Carrots – 18.75%
  4. Other – 18.75%
  5. Brussel Sprouts – 0% (no love? haha)

Moving on…Peas will be broken down into 2 sections: Recipe & Prep, and Testing (aka – Eating!).  The reason for this is simple – Abigail is napping and hasn’t had a chance to try the peas yet!

That being said, Peas were a cinch to make.  All you need are some frozen peas, water, a steamer and a blender.  Here’s the recipe (if you have a hard time reading it or have any questions, let me know!):
